God’s Word for Today – 06 Mar 2025
Colossians 1:9 KJV — For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Reflection on God’s Word for Today – 06 Mar 2025
For anyone who is a follower of Christ there is an obligation to pray for co-workers in the Lord’s vineyard and for those who are still groping in darkness that they may become partakers of Christ’s saving grace. It is however questionable how much of this is being done in church communities judging by the prayer habits that are common in such communities. Most praying tend to be focused on personal needs and fighting real and perceived enemies and less so on developing more intimate relationship with Jehovah and on praying for lost souls to come to the knowledge of Yahweh. Are you in any way different from those described here? What do you do when you are on your watch and will God be pleased with what you do? It is time to examine yourself and change.
Pray: Everlasting Father, I confess that I have not been a faithful watch person, please forgive me and give me unction to function better. #Mok
