If we were to conduct an anonymous feedback survey in churches across the world focused on those who lead those assemblies, one would probably be surprised and shocked by the responses. Many churches have such a bad reputation regarding how they represent Jehovah in the world that they have become a repellant to those who are genuinely seeking a community living untainted biblical doctrines. What would the feedback on you as a professing disciple of Christ be? Would it resemble that of Demetrius in today’s scripture? He had a good report of all, both within and without the church community. Would people bear witness that you are Christlike? Or are you only a disciple in church on Sunday and someone else at other times? Examine yourself and choose to change.
