Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 10 Feb 2025
Today’s scripture has been the subject of abuse by many church and ministry leaders, especially in the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements across the world. It has been used as a ready tool for manipulative use of ministry and church funds for personal uses of such leaders. It must be said that God will call everyone to account for their stewardship of Jehovah’s resources entrusted to them. Be it known that genuine and faithful leaders never demand, rather they serve selflessly and are blessed by Christ for being faithful. I don’t know what type of leader you are, but I want you to examine yourself and ensure you are living and leading right by Jehovah’s measure. Do not abuse your position of trust as you lead God’s children.
