If you are a disciple of Christ you must know that there is a present risk of suffering loss of reward for the great things Christ has used you to accomplish if you are not safeguarding your relationship with Christ to keep it alive and growing. You cannot afford to take your eyes off the goal and the ultimate prize for your discipleship journey in Christ, lest you lose your full reward. You also want to be mindful of what you build upon Christ’s foundation to ensure that your work will withstand the test by fire. Check yourself. Have you been expending yourself and your resources on matters that have eternal value? If not, this is the time to change course.
