Reflection on God’s Word for Today - 20 Apr 2024
There are folks out there, and I have come across some, who feel compelled by following Christ and who grudgingly do His bidding while also grumbling. This is most unacceptable to Jehovah. God doesn’t compel anyone to seek Him and walk with Him. Everyone who will come to Christ must do so of their own free volition if they want to receive any reward from Him. Nothing but full obedience is good enough for Yahweh. For you who have accepted the call of Christ, you must know that it is a call to walk with Christ and to emulate Him in character and in obedient service. Don’t ever try to cut corners because you will account for your stewardship of all that Jehovah has entrusted to you.
